| New | This erases the current analysis results and command
view settings. The authorization key and proxy settings are not touched.
Use this command to clear OptiLink before starting a brand new analysis. |
| Open... | Brings up a file open dialog where you can select
a previously saved OptiLink database and load it into the OptiLink views.
This will set the OptiLink command fields and options as well as the results
views just as the analysis looked when the file was originally saved. The
OptiLink database filename will show in the the OptiLink title bar. |
| Save | Save the current OptiLink analysis database to a file.
If a Save or Save As... has already been done, the filename shown in the
title bar will be overwritten, otherwise a file save dialog will open so
you can select a destination file name. An OptiLink database my be saved
anytime that OptiLink is not running and at any stage of analysis. For example,
not only can finished analysis runs be saved, but complex command settings
without any results could also be saved and used as a template for later
analyses. This might be particularly useful where a large number of "Pages
to Include" are used to keep track of link partners. These settings could
be saved and analysis runs done periodically to verify that the links still
exist. |
| Save As... | Open a save file dialog and save the OptiLink database
to a filename you select. The filename will be added to the title bar. |
| Report Options... | Opens a dialog where the sections to include in a
printed or exported report can be selected. Initially, all sections are enabled. |
| Export Report | Creates a printable version of the OptiLink analysis
database in HTML and exports it to your default system browser. |
| Print Report... | Like export, but sends the report to a printer you
select. |
| Print Setup... | Opens the system printer setup dialog to change paper
size, print orientation and the like. |
| Setup... | This opens the application setup dialog where the
authorization key is entered and network proxy settings (if required) are
set. For information on these two topics see authorization setup and proxy setup respectively. |
| Exit | This exits OptiLink. You can also click the close
box in the upper right corner of the window to achieve the same thing. |
